It has a serial peripheral interface (SPI) allowing control and diagnostic communication with an external microcontroller. The ASL1507SHN; ASL2507SHN is designed primarily for use in automotive LED lighting applications and provides an optimized supply voltage for ASLx416/17SHN multichannel LED buck driver. For simplicity, the data sheet states always 'gate drivers' and 'output voltages'.
