General Desc ription
Each of these monolithic counte rs contains four masterslave flip-flops and additional gating to provide a div ide-bytwo counter and a three-stage bin ary counter for which the count cycle l ength is divide-by-five for the DM74LS9 0. All of these counters have a gated z ero reset and the DM74LS90 also has gat ed set-to-nine inputs for use in BCD ni ne’s complement applications. To use their maximum count length (decade or f our bit binary), the B input is connect ed to the QA out . |
