In addition to being able to drive up to 208 segments directly, the LC75839PW can also control up to 4 general-purpose output ports. Because it has the PWM output of a maximum of 3 ch, the brightness control of the LED backlight of RGB can be done. Incorporation of an oscillation circuit helps to reduce the number of external resistors and capacitors required.
