MP2953B Digital Multi-Phase Controller with PMBus Interface for VR12.5 The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION The MP2953B is a digital multi-phase controller that provides power for the core of the INTEL VR12.5 platform. It works with MPS’ Intelli- R FEATURES  6-Phase Digital PWM Controller O  Intel’s VR12.5 Compliant F  PMBus Compliant Phase products to complete the multi-phase VR solution with minimal external components. It can be configured for 1 ~ 6 phase operation. D The MP2953B provides on-chip EEPROM to store and restore device configurations. Device E configurations and fault parameters are easy to program or monitor using the PMBus interface. D The MP2953B monitors and reports the output N S 5 current through CS output from Intelli-Phase products.
