DESCRIPTION
The MPQ3426 is a current-mode step-up converter with a 6A, 90mΩ, 45V internal switch that provides a highly efficient regulator with a fast response.
The MPQ3426 features a configurable switching frequency (fSW) of up to 2MHz that allows for simple filtering and reduces noise. An external compensation pin gives the user flexibility in setting loop dynamics, and allows the user to use small, low-ESR, ceramic output
capacitors.
Soft start leads to a small inrush current that can be configured with an external capacitor. The MPQ3426 operates from a biased supply
voltage as low as 3.2V, and can generate an output
voltage (VOUT) up to 35V.
The MPQ3426’s features include under-
voltage lockout (UVLO), current limiting, and thermal overload protection.
The MPQ3426 is available in a low-profile QFN14 (3mmx4mm) package and a QFN-14 (4mmx4mm) package with wettable flanks and an exposed pad.
