This device is especially characterized for audio· amplifier applications, and can be driven by either RCA 1C03 or RCA lC04, n·p·n and p·n·p types, respectively. The 7Q.watt amplifier shown in Figs. 1 and 5 uses the RCA1B06 output device in coniunction with eleven other discrete transistors, thirteen diodes, and a 90·volt split power supply.
