SY88289AL 3.3V, 3.2Gbps CML Low-Power Limiting Post Amplifier with TTL Loss-of-Signal General Description Features The SY88289AL low-power limiting post amplifier is Single 3.3V power supply designed for use in fiber-optic receivers. The device 125Mbps to 3.2Gbps operation connects to typical transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs). Low-noise CML data outputs The linear signal output from TIAs can contain Chatter-free open-collector TTL Loss-of-signal (LOS) significant amounts of noise and may vary in amplitude output with internal 4.75kΩ pull-up resistor over time. The SY88289AL quantizes these signals and TTL /EN input outputs CML-level waveforms. Internal 50Ω input termination The SY88289AL operates from a single +3.3V power supply, over temperatures ranging from –40oC to +85oC. Programmable LOS level set (LOSLVL) With its wide bandwidth and high gain, signals with data Ideal for multi-rate applications rates up to 3.2Gbps, and as small as 10mVP-P, can be Available in a tiny 3mmx3mm 16-pin MLF® package amplified to drive devices with CML inputs or ACcoupled CML/PECL inputs.
