The S-8367/8368 Series is a CMOS step-up type switching
regulator controller which consists of a reference voltage source, an oscillation circuit, an error amplifier, a phase compensation circuit, a current limit circuit, a short-circuit protection circuit, and a PWM control circuit etc. With an external low ON-resistance enhanced Nch power MOS FET, this product is ideal for applications requiring high efficiency and a high output current. In addition, the output current is limited by connecting the current detection resistance (RSENSE) to the VSENSE pin. The loss which occurs in RSENSE is reduced since the current detection voltage (VSENSE1) is set to 100 mV ± 10%.
