requency can be set to 600kHz, 800kHz, o r 1000kHz easily with MODE configuratio n, allowing the MPQ8634A frequency to r emain constant regardless of the input/ output voltages. The output voltage sta rt-up ramp is controlled by an internal 1.5ms timer. It can be increased by ad ding a capacitor on TRK/REF. An opendra in power good (PGOOD) signal indicates when the output is within its nominal v oltage range. PGOOD is clamped at aroun d 0.7V with an external pull-up voltage when the input supply fails to power t he MPQ8634A. Fully integrated protectio n features include over-current protect ion (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP ), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP). The MPQ8634A requires a minimal number of r eadily available, standard, external co mponents and is available in a QFN-21 ( 3mmx4mm) package.
