e of ceramic pin feed thru seals assure long term hermeticity after exposure to extended temperature cycling. The basi c circuit is a push-pull forward topolo gy using power MOSFET switches. The nom inal switching frequency is 500kHz. A u nique current injection circuit assures current balancing in the power switche s. All AHV series converters use a sing le stage LC input filter to attenuate i nput ripple current. A low power 11.5V series regulator provides power to an e pitaxial CMOS custom pulse width modula tor integrated circuit. This single int egrated circuit provides all PWM primar y circuit functions. Power is transferr ed from primary to secondary through a ferrite core power transformer. An erro r voltage signal is generated by compar ing a highly stable reference voltage w ith the converter output voltage and dr ives the PWM through a unique wideband magnetic feedback circuit. This proprie tary feedback circuit provides an extre mely wide bandwidth, high gain control loop, with high phase margin. The feedb ack control loop gain is insensitive to temperature, radiation, aging, and var iations in manufacturing. The transfer function of the feedback circuit is a f unction of the feedback transformer tur ns ratio which cannot change when subje cted to environmental extremes. Manufactured in a f
