The amplifier provides 13 dB of gain, 40 dBm output IP3, and 29 dBm of output power at 1 dB gain compression while only consuming 450 mA from a 15 V supply. The ±0.75 dB gain flatness is excellent from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, making the HMC-C074 ideal for EW, ECM, radar, and test equipment applications. The amplifier inputs/outputs are dc blocked and internally matched to 50 Ω. Integrated voltage regulators allow for flexible biasing of both the negative and positive supply pins, while internal bias sequencing and active bias control allows for robust operation and stable performance over temperature.
