Description
The CPC7581 is a monolithic solid-state four-pole switch in a 16-pin package. It provides the necessary functions to replace a 2-Form-C electromechanical relay on traditional analog and integrated voice and data (IVD) line cards found in central office, access, and PBX equipment. The CPC7581 contains solid-state switches for tip and ring lead line break and ringing injection/ringing return. The device requires only a +5 V supply, and offers break-before-make and make-before-break operation using logic-level inputs.
The CPC7581BA versions include an SCR that provides protection to the SLIC and subsequent circuitry during a fault condition.
