The CAT28C17A is a fast, low power, 5 V−only CMOS Parallel EEPROM organized as 2K x 8−bits. It requires a simple interface for in−system pro gramming. On−chip address and data la tches, self−timed write cycle with au to−clear and VCC power up/down write protection eliminate additional timing and protection hardware. DATA Polling a nd a RDY/BSY pin signal the start and e nd of the self−timed write cycle. Add itionally, the CAT28C17A features hardw are write protection.
