The PC A9531 contains an internal oscillator w ith two user programmable blink rates a nd duty cycles coupled to the output PW M. The LED brightness is controlled by setting the blink rate high enough (> 1 00 Hz) that the blinking can not be see n and then using the duty cycle to vary the amount of time the LED is on and t hus the average current through the LED . The initial setup sequence programs t he two blink rates/duty cycles for each individual PWM. From then on, only one command from the bus master is require d to turn individual LEDs ON, OFF, BLIN K RATE 1 or BLINK RATE 2. Based on the programmed frequency and duty cycle, BLINK RATE 1 and BLINK RAT.

Description:
The Microchip Technology Inc. 93LC76/86 are 8K and
16K low voltage serial Electrically Erasable PROMs.
The device memory is configured as x8 or x16 bits
depending on the ORG pin setup. Advanced CMOS
technology makes these devices ideal for low power
nonvolatile memory applications. These devices also
have a Program Enable (PE) pin to allow the user to
write-protect the entire contents of the memory array.
The 93LC76/86 is available in standard 8-pin PDIP and
8-pin surface mount SOIC packages.
