The X9312 is a res istor array composed of 99 resistive el ements. Between each element and at eit her end are tap points accessible to th e wiper element. The position of the wi per element is controlled by the CS, U/ D, and INC inputs. The position of the wiper can be stored in nonvolatile memo ry and then be recalled upon a subseque nt power-up operation. The resolution o f the X9312 is equal to the maximum res istance value divided by 99. As an exam ple, for the X9312U (50KΩ) each tap p oint represents 505Ω. DESCRIPTION
