The X24C16 features a s erial interface and software protocol a llowing operation on a simple two wire bus. The X24C16 is fabricated with Xico r’s advanced CMOS Textured Poly Float ing Gate Technology. Serial Data (SDA) SDA is a bidirectional pin used to transfer data into and out of the de vice. It is an open drain output and ma y be wire-ORed with any number of open drain or open collector outputs. An ope n drain output requires the use of a pu ll-up resistor.
