Th SA2005P does not require any external trim-pots or resistor ladders for meter calibration. Calibration and meter configuration information is stored on a small external EEPROM. Meter setup stored on the EEPROM includes various metering direction modes (total sum, absolute sum, positive or negative energy) phase calibration data, rated metering conditions, LED pulse rate, counter pulse width, counter resolution and creep current.
