DESCRIPTION The µPD780226 and µPD780228 are members of the µPD780228 Subseries of the 78K/0 Series. The FIP™ (VFD) controller/driver and N-ch open-drain port of the conventional µPD78044H Subseries have been
enhanced for the µPD780228 Subseries. A flash memory version, the µPD78F0228, that can operate within the same power supply voltage range as the
mask ROM version, and various development tools are under development.
