Microtune’s MT0750-HS Headset Reference Design offers a functional headset and documentation for product development and manufacturing. The headset reference design is based on the MT0750 OneChip. The MT0750-HS integrates the Bluetooth headset solution including the radio, baseband, processor, audio CODEC, and flash program memory into a single BGA package. The chip’s built-in CODEC directly connects to the headset speaker and microphone. The onboard processor and execution of man machine interface (MMI) code in the embedded flash offer direct control of volume, on/off and
airing switches, LED indication, and power management. The reference hardware provides the Microtune wireless voice circuit mounted on plastics with the speaker, microphone, control switches, LED antenna, a lithium polymer battery, and a separate battery charger circuit. Hardware documentation includes schematic, BOM, and PCB gerber files. The Microtune PCB design has high voice quality, good class 2 range, and low power consumption. The Microtune solution is a proven platform, allowing product developers to quickly enter the Bluetooth headset market.
