General description The PCF50606 and PCF50605 are highly integrated solutions for power supply generation, battery management, and dedicated mobile system functions. A built-in step down DC/DC converter provides a highly power efficient supply for a digital core, while 2 additional DC/DC converters and 5 low dropout regulators are available to supply all other functions in mobile systems. Furthermore, the PCF50606 provides a 10-bit ADC and touch screen readout support. Both devices enables a very efficient system deep sleep state since it incorporates a real time clock and several wake up functions. They can be controlled by a host controller via an I2C serial interface and several dedicated pins. An intelligent interrupt system signals the host controller about many power management events. Whenever PCF50606 is mentioned in this document, this refers to both PCF50605 and PCF50606, unless a difference is noted. This document describes bondout versions A and B; a separate specification is available of bondout version E. !
