The A8431 also offers an OVP (overvoltage protection) pin. Driving t he LEDs in series ensures identical cur rents and uniform brightness. Up to fou r white LEDs can be driven at 20 mA fro m a single cell Li-ion or a multicell N iMH power source. Up to two parallel st rings of eight white LEDs can be driven at 20 mA by increasing the supply volt age up to 10 V . |
