When one input level exceeds the other, the output smoothly transfers to reflect the new higher input. This action is commonly called “bumpless” transfer. A set of SPST reed relay contacts is provided for each input, which identify the highest channel. APPLICATION The AP4502 is useful in applications that require process decisionmaking. Typical applications include multipoint temperature, flow and level monitoring. The output of the AP4502 can drive a digital meter for direct display, a limit alarm for multipoint monitoring or interface with a computer for monitoring & control applications. ! ! ! !
