GPS receiver GNS 603 Datasheet V1.0 preliminary specification 1 INTRODUCTION GNS603 is a small autonomous GPS receiver, based upon the MT3339 single chip, available with a finely tuned, high-sensitivity patch ceramic antenna. The navigation performance and accuracy is further improved by using correction data from SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, MSAS, QZSS). The GNS603 provides a extra embedded functionality for connection of an external active GPS antenna. An automatic antenna switching function and a short circuit protection features a software antenna status message called “Antenna Advisor”.
