Technical coantmesntAsGtill valid Datasheet AS1390A, AS1390B High Power Boost Controller and Buck Converter for LED Backlight 1 General Description The AS1390A, AS1390B is a high-power, constant-frequency boost controller with an integrated buck converter. The AS1390A can be used for the boost converter in TV sets which are optimized for 2D and 3D mode. AS1390B is designed for single mode operation. The continuous conduction mode of the AS1390 provides superior bandwith and transient response. The two output voltages for the boost controller (2D and 3D mode) can be programmed with an external resistor divider. The buck converter is optimized for suppling a µP with 5V.
