The device integrates 100mΩ MOSFETS  Wide 4.75V to 18V Operating Input Range that provide 3A continuous load current over a wide  Integrated 100mΩ Power MOSFET Switches operating input voltage of 4.75V to 18V. Current mode  Output Adjustable from 0.925V to 15V control provides fast transient response and  Up to 95% Efficiency cycle-by-cycle current limit.  Programmable Soft-Start  Stable with Low ESR Ceramic Output Capacitors An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current at  Fixed 370KHz Frequency turn-on. In shutdown mode, the supply current drops  Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection below 1μA.  Input Under Voltage Lockout  Available in PSOP8 package The A7230 provides a very compact system solution with minimal reliance on external components.
