HELP WITH THE SELECTION OF PART NUMBERS
The first two numbers after “NAS” designates the Design and Material of the Bolt. The third and fourth number after “NAS” designates the (Diameter) in 1/16” increments. SEE THE CHART! NAS10 { } { } BOLT, HEXAGON HEAD, NON MAGNETIC, & HEAT RESISTANT, NOT PLATED
Corrosion Resistant Steel, A-286 Stainless, 140Kpsi. Tensile at room temperature.
The last numerals { } { } in the part number designate grip lengths in 1/16ths of an inch. Add the “T” dimension to get overall length. Grip length of bolts shall be measured from the underside of the head to the end of the full cylindrical portion of the shank.
ADD ( A ) ADD ( H )
To the very end of all numbers for an undrilled shank. To the very end of all numbers for a drilled head.
Examples of part numbers:
NAS1006-24 NAS1006-24A NAS1006-24H
= 3/8 DIAMETER, 24 THREADS PER INCH, 1.500 GRIP, 2.163 OVERALL LENGTH, DRILLED SHANK ONLY = 3/8 DIAMETER, 24 THREADS PER INCH, 1.500 GRIP, 2.163 OVERALL LENGTH, NO HOLES = 3/8 DIAMETER, 24 THREADS PER INCH, 1.500 GRIP, 2.163 OVERALL LENGTH, DRILLED HEAD ONLY
