Description The IFX7805 monolithic 3-terminal positive voltage regulator employs internal current-limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area compensation, making it extremely robust. The IFX7805 is available in a fixed 5V version and is capable of delivering an output current of 1A. These regulators can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation.
