8080 : A 16-bit number assigned to a memory location corresponding to its sequential position. The smallest unit of information which can be represented. 8086 : The Intersil 80C86 high performance 16-bit CMOS CPU is manufactured using a self-aligned silicon gate CMOS process (Scaled SAJI IV).
