The high switching freque ncy operation reduces the size of the e xternal filtering components, improves power density, and enables very fast dy namic response to line and load transie nts. The PI33xx-x1 series sustains high switching frequency all the way up to the rated input voltage without sacrifi cing efficiency and, with its 20ns mini mum on-time, supports large step down c onversions up to 36VIN.
