The counters have two divide-by-2 sections and two d ivide-by-5 sections. These sections sha re an asynchronous master reset input ( nMR) and can be used in a BCD decade or bi-quinary configuration. If master re set inputs (1MR and 2MR) are used to si multaneously clear all 8 bits of the co unter, a number of counting configurati ons are possible within one package. Th e separate clock . |
