Description The FAN9673 is an interleaved three−channel Continu ous
Conduction Mode (CCM) Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller IC intended for PFC pre−regulators. Incorporatin g circuits for the implementation of le ading edge, average current, and “boo st”−type power factor correction, t he FAN9673 enables the design of a powe r supply that fully complies with the I EC1000−3−2 specification. Interleav ed operation provides substantial reduc tion in the input and output ripple cur rents and the conducted EMI filtering b ecomes easier and cost effec . |
