I ntroduction
The AMIS−30511 is a micr o−stepping stepper motor driver for b ipolar stepper motors. The chip is conn ected through I/O pins and a SPI interf ace with an external microcontroller. T he AMIS−30511 contains a current−tr anslation table and takes the next micr o−step depending on the clock signal on the “NXT” input pin and the stat us of the “DIR” (=direction) regist er or input pin. The chip provides a so −called “speed and load angle” ou tput. This allows the creation of stall detection algorithms, step loss detect ion, and control loops based on load− a . |
