11 b/g/n WLAN systems • ISM band transmitters • Wireless access points, routers, gateways Description The SKY65174-11 is a highly integrated Power Amplifier Module (PAM) intended for high performance Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) requiring up to +27 dBm linear output power.
The PAM is packaged in a 10-pin, 4 x 4 mm Multi-Chip Module (MCM) together with power detector, biasing, and input/output matching components.
This provides a high performance, highly integrated solution with minimal external components.
Figure 1 shows a functional block diagram for the SKY65174-11.
Features • PA linear output power: +27 dBm @ <2.
5% EVM • High gain: 35 dB • Input/Output internally matched to 50 Ω • Internal, active bias circuits • MCM (10-pin, 4 x 4 mm) package (MSL3, 260 °C per JEDEC J-STD-020) Skyworks offers lead (Pb)-free RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant packaging.
