6A/1) Data Sheet Lead (Pb) Free RoHS 6 fully compliant RoHS 6 fully compliant options available; -xxxE denotes a lead-free product Description The ASSR-14X X S eries c onsists of an AlG aAs infrar ed light-emitting diode (LED) input stage optically coupled to a high-v oltage output det ector circuit.
The det ector consists of a high-speed phot ovoltaic diode arra y and driver circuitry to switch on/off t wo discrete high v oltage MOSFETs.
The relay turns on (c ontact closes) with a minimum input curr ent of 3mA thr ough the input LED .
The r elay turns off (c ontact opens) with an input v oltage of 0.
8V or less.
The single channel c onfigurations, ASSR-1410 and ASSR-1411, are equivalent to 1 Form A Elec tromechanical Rela ys (EMR), and the dual channel c onfiguration, ASSR-1420, is equivalent t o 2 F orm A EMR.
They ar e available in 4-pin SO , 6-pin DIP , 8-pin DIP and Gull Wing Sur face M ount f or DIP pack ages.
Their elec trical and swit ching charac teristics ar e specifi ed o ver the temperature range of -40°C t o +85°C.
They are used f or general purpose swit ching of sig nals and lo w po wer AC/DC loads.
ASSR-1411 enables AC/DC and DC-only output connections.
F or DC- only c onnection, the output curr ent, Io , increases t o 1.
