AX1117A 1A Low Dropout Linear Regulator  GENERAL DESCRIPTION AX1117A is a low dropout positive adjustable or fixed-mode regulator with minimum of 1A output current capability.
The product is specifically designed to provide well-regulated supply for low voltage IC applications such as high-speed bus termination and low current 3.
3V logic supply.
AX1117A is also well suited for other applications such as VGA cards.
AX1117A is guaranteed to have lower than 1.
4V dropout at full load current making it ideal to provide well-regulated outputs of 1.

18, 2012 AX1117A  PIN ASSIGNMENT The packages of AX1117A are SOT223 and TO252; the pin assignment is given by: SOT223 ( Top View ) 3 2 1 Tab is VOUT TO252 ( Top View ) 3 2 1 Tab is VOUT VIN VOUT Adj (GND) Name VIN VOUT Adj (GND) Description A resistor divider from this pin to the VOUT Adj pin and ground sets the output voltage.
(GND) (Ground only for Fixed-Mode) The output of the regulator.
A minimum of 3.
3uF EL capacitor (10mΩ ≤ ESR ≤ 1Ω) VOUT must be connected from this pin to ground to insure stability.
(Note) The input pin of regulator.
Typically a large storage capacitor is connected from this pin to ground to insure that the input voltage does not sag below the minimum dropout VIN voltage during the load transient response.
This pin must always be 1.
