With data transfer rates of up to 920k baud ( RS232 ) and 2,000 k baud ( RS422 / RS485 ) , the FT8U232AM significantly raises the performance level above that above that of traditional ISA and PCI based UART solutions whilst offering true plug and play and easy interfacing through it’s USB interface.
