Upmixer/Exciter
The MRFIC1854A is an integrated upmixer and exciter amplifier designed
specifically for PCS CDMA digital cellular radios. The exciter amplifier
incorporates a temperature compensated linear gain control and selectable
bias to reduce power consumption. The design utilizes Motorola’s
RF BiCMOS1 process to yield superior performance in a cost effective
monolithic device.
Total Supply Current CDMA Mode = 55 mA Typical
65 dB Dynamic Range Gain Control
Upmixer Output IP3 = 6.0 dBm Typical
Exciter Output IP3 = 22 dBm Typical
Supply Voltage Range = 2.7 to 3.6 V
Adjacent Channel Power (ACPR) @ 1.25 MHz Offset
(Pout = 3.0 dBm) = –58 dBc Typical
