BUL1203E Datasheet High voltage fast-switching NPN power transistor TAB TO-220 1 23 C(2, TAB) B(1) E(3) SC06960_TAB Features • High voltage capability • Low spread of dynamic parameters • Minimum lot-to-lot spread for reliable operation • Very high switching speed Applications • Electronic ballast for fluorescent lighting • Switch mode power supplies Description The BUL1203E is manufactured using diffused collector in planar technology to enhance switching speeds and tight hFE range while maintaining a wide RBSOA.
Thanks to his enhanced high voltage structure 1 (EHVS1) it has an intrinsic ruggedness which enables the transistor to withstand a high collector current level during breakdown condition, without using the transil protection usually necessary in typical converters for lamp ballast.
